ABOUT
Evangelist Samuel Chambers, Sr. was born in the United States of America (state of "Mississippi") in 1938 to sharecropper farmers (Nellie and Charles Chambers). GOD called him into the ministry in 1951 at the age of thirteen. In 1961, Evangelist Chambers married a young lady born in "Mississippi" and together they raised their eight children in the city of "Chicago." While teaching his children about the ways of GOD (Proverbs 22:6), Evangelist Chambers wrote his first pamphlet in 1967 and called it, “Gumbo Gospel Truth.” Evangelist Chambers began distributing his writings (occasionally) in 1967 (and full-time starting in 1969 on the streets of "Chicago" in the state of "Illinois") and became known as, “THE STATE STREET PREACHER.” As a grandfather, Evangelist Chambers continues to preach the “Gospel“ on the streets spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ and messages from GOD (written in the HOLY BIBLE) which are the principles of the “Gospel“ concerning creation, the cleansing/sanctification of our temples/bodies (which manifests into holiness/healings), and GOD's everlasting mercy in the resurrection (the "Second Coming") of Jesus Christ).
